The One You Must Read !

Journal of Advanced Appraisal Studies 2008 edition
edited by Todd W. Sigety

I have to say that I usually approach books like this with a grain of salt. But BOY was I ever thrilled to read this book. This is information that you can use, written by and for professional appraisers. Not just someone up in an ivory tower but real life situations. You know that there is nothing like being able to talk with fellow appraisers about real life situations and dealings. That is what this book is all about. Dozens of well written, original articles by ISA, ASA and AAA real life appraisers about various subjects relating to the field of personal property appraisals. I mean this is one copy that I hate to say, that I've almost ruined from the folded corners /pages and miles of highlighted text and with various colors of post it notes and flags poking out of the edges. Already I've read it several times.

This is soft back edition with 321 pages was published by The Foundation for Appraisal Education. This book is worth its weight in gold. Absolutely a must for serious appraisers. This is the 2008 edition and the 2009 edition has been out on the market for some months and I think that the 2010 edition is being currently complied. They are priced at $55.00 and are a bargain price at that and the previous year's edition will be reduced to $35.00, you can click on this link to order http://www.appraisaljournal.org/ . Also be sure to check out Todd's blog "Appraiser Workshops" in my side bar. This is one of my favorite blogs and I look forward to checking on it every morning.
